It has been confirmed that Sonic Boom will air in Canada on French language channel Ici Radio-Canada Télé today.
Also the show will air in Taiwan and Southeast Asia (except Malaysia which already aired it earlier) on April 11th. Portugal (via kids channel SIC K) will also air Boom in either May or June, making it second country in Europe, after France (in November 2014), to air it.
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games has now been released in Europe. The game allows you to play 24 different events and the first time play with rivals across the globe online. The game will be available on high street/physical and online stores and can also be digitally downloaded via Nintendo eShop for only £39.99 in the UK. Although the fourth Mario & Sonic seems to have mixed reviews from critics, the same with Sonic Lost World.
According to Nintendo it stated that Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be released November 8th –it is unknown if this is either a worldwide release date, a North American release date or a European release date (November 8th is a Friday, the day of the week that most games tend to be released on)– on the Wii U.
Nintendo also says that you can download it from the eShop on the Wii U on the same day when the non-digital boxed version of the game releases.
According to the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, it has revealed that the Orange Wisp from Sonic Colours will return in Sonic Lost World. Also two new wisps, Grey Quake Wisp and Ivory Lightning have been revealed. The Grey Quake Wisp will see Sonic turn into an iron ball, where you can climb walls and dive off them to destroy enemies with the shock of landing, hence its name.
The Ivory Lightning Wisp gives Sonic the power to quickly ram enemies obstacles in succession. According to The Sonic Stadium (TSS) via a rough Google translation from Famitsu.com, he will also able to pass through wires in this state.
The Red Burst Wisp has the same powers as in the DS version of Sonic Colours. In this form, Sonic can fly/hop around the air and change blasts of enemy to destroy surrounding enemies.
The latest big Sonic title, with title yet to be announced, will be similar to previous Sonic games, especially Sonic Heroes (in dificulty), since the game’s difficulty will depend on character; Sonic Unleashed (Sonic World Adventure in Japan, daytime stages only) and console versions of Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations in in-game camera, since it will use 2D and 3D (except on the Nintendo 3DS version which will only have 2D side-scrolling, as in the DS Version of Sonic Colours and 3DS version of Sonic Generations) camera view and Sonic Colo(u)rs and Sonic Generations in game graphical differences, as I mentioned before in parenthesis, the use of 2D on handheld versions and 2D/3D camera on console versions.
The game will be available on Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and next generation consoles (such as the Ouya for example).
The new Sonic game on the other hand will be different on one hand, because now when complete a stage, they will exits which will take you to another stage. They will be 20 different stages, not including boss stages.
